IPA offers comprehensive training specifically designed to help shooters of all skill levels reach their highest potential in practical shooting specially designed for IDPA (International Defensive Pistol Association) to improve the skills of anyone who wish to be a better practical shooter. Training consists of "scenario-based training sessions" with live fire training drills that are simple to practice balanced between speed and accuracy.

The International Police Association Malta Section was founded in 1964 for serving and retired police. IPA Malta Shooting Section coordinates shooting sports events to gather voluntary contribution as an NGO to support people in need.

As an NGO, IPA Malta Shooting Section has three main aims:

  • To raise money for those in need

  • To act as a public relation liaison between the public and the Police.

  • Providing the opportunity for new Police officers to meet their peers and take part in a themed training programs. The objective is to provide a global view of law enforcement and the IPA overall.

IPA Malta Section is registered with the Commissioner for Voluntary Organizations (VO/0399).
